Three-Day Rotation

Chapter opening only · Exercises forthcoming

Before you begin: Choose exercises already comfortable enough to evaluate; a routine is not a requirement to attempt every advanced topic.

Chapter overview

Purpose: A three-day rotation can balance recurring fundamentals with skills that need less frequent attention. The categories organize practice; they do not require every listed exercise to be completed on every visit.

Preparation: Choose exercises already comfortable enough to evaluate; a routine is not a requirement to attempt every advanced topic.

Planned development

  • Day 1: scales, finger patterns, trills, and a voicing check
  • Day 2: chords, arpeggios, broken chords, repeated notes, and a voicing check
  • Day 3: double notes, octaves, and rhythmic coordination
  • Distribute Hanon 1–20 across the cycle, selecting only patterns appropriate to the session
  • Adjust the rotation to repertoire needs instead of completing every category each day

Musical connection

Apply one result to a small passage in current repertoire and record what changed before planning the next session.

Development status: chapter opening only. Exercises, score examples, detailed practice instructions, and editorial review are forthcoming. This page establishes the proposed scope and reading order.
